The Finance department manages and controls all financial functions of company globally in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and comprised of the following main areas: General and Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Risk management, Payroll, Tax, Financial Planning and Analysis.
Marketing
Employees develop the effective strategies to market our products and services, specific to different target groups, ensuring that all the customers’ expectations are met.
Sales
Employees are responsible for building long-term relationships with the existing customers ensuring that all the customers’ expectations are met. In addition, they target new business opportunities in the assigned territory. This function offers a large variety of opportunities nationally and internationally: Account Management, District Sales Management, Business Development and Inside Sales.
Global Sourcing
Brake Parts Inc (BPI)’s global footprint allows global sourcing employees to search worldwide for the most reliable, highest quality, cost competitive, world class suppliers. In addition to finding and developing these strategic suppliers, Global Sourcing is also responsible for measuring, monitoring, and coaching suppliers for continuous improvements in cost, on time delivery, as well lead time reductions. Negotiated contracts are used often to formalize both parties’ expectations.
Global Operations
Employees plan and optimize the manufacture of our products in one of our plants; they procure new machinery and equipment, ensuring they meet customer and internal requirements. During production, employees analyze and optimize existing manufacturing technologies and processes.
Human Resources
HR professionals play a key role in the organizations development and support change as required in order to deliver superior business results. Employees are responsible for finding and retaining Top Talent to create a high energy work force that achieves the goals and objectives of organization.
Information Technology
Employees are responsible for BPI’s global systems, networks and infrastructure, ensuring that they are available around the clock as needed to support business in all regions of the world. Using Oracle eBusiness applications, and other leading technology products, they offer best in class systems. They are committed to the evaluation of emerging technologies to continually enhance our excellent business operations.
Customer Service
Customer service representatives are responsible for managing all incoming order and claim services, interacting with customers, maintaining and strengthening relationships, enhancing our company image, and supporting initiatives to help the business grow.
Engineering & Product Development
Our Engineers and Product Managers work hand-in-hand within each product category. Our Engineers are responsible for the analysis and creation of new product designs for manufacturing or sourcing in the global brake automotive aftermarket; product managers are responsible for the product management, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. We are committed to creating innovative solutions through engineering excellence in the automotive sector to be the “Best In Brakes”.
Inventory Planning
Employees are responsible for analyzing demand to determine inventory replenishment and stocking levels, while optimizing customer line fill; employees are also focused on analytics to drive process improvement and metrics.
Distribution
Distribution employees are responsible for the receipt and storage of products shipped from BPI factories as well as the entire Global Supply Chain. They are also responsible for the fulfillment of orders and the shipment of product to all of BPI’s North American customers.
